The driver of a car that crashed died early Friday in Greenville County.

The South Carolina Highway Patrol says two men from Jonesville were killed early Tuesday morning when the truck they were traveling in lost control and hit some trees.
 

A trooper told us the accident involved a tractor trailer and slowed morning traffic in Laurens County. Officials with the Department of Health and Environmental Control say the accident dumped 2,400 gals. of waste cooking oil down an embankment into a nearby creek.

The Highway Patrol says the accident involved only one car at Old Vinland Road, 8 miles north of Easley.

A Greenville County man died after a single-car accident Tuesday night.  He crashed into a home and the homeowner tells News Channel 7 this is not the first time for this type of tragedy in the same place

An Anderson woman was killed Monday night by a hit and run driver and police are searching for the car involved.

According to information on the Web site of the Highway Patrol, a wreck was reported in Greenville at 440 Pumpkintown Road near North River Road. One person was killed.

At least one person was ejected from a vehicle when the automobile left the road, troopers told us.
