Cherokee County Schools Educator Dies in House Fire
Authorities in Cherokee County say Kathy Prevatte Kirby was found dead in the home as it was burning on Brittany Road in Gaffney. Kirby was a preschool evaluator and coordinator for Cherokee county Schools for over a decade.
