Greenville-Based NuVox, Inc. Sold For $643 Million

Windstream Corporation announced Wednesday that it has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire NuVox, Inc., a Greenville-based company. The deal to buy the competitive local exchange carrier is valued at approximately $643 million.
