Tropical Storm Hanna sets sight on the East Coast.

Many Upstate hotels expect to be filled tomorrow with people who have fled the coast.

Tropical Storm Hanna may threaten the Carolinas by Friday as a hurricane. The National Hurricane Center reports the storm is getting larger, but not stronger.

Gov. Mark Sanford left the Republican National Convention in St. Paul Wednesday morning to come back to South Carolina because of the threat to the state from Hanna.

Storm Team 7 says that Hanna should re-intensify into a hurricane by Wednesday afternoon.

Hanna has been downgraded to a tropical storm, but is expected to gain hurricane strength again. Hanna threatens the Carolinas Friday, while two other storms are moving in the Atlantic.

Storm Team 7 reports Tropical Storm Hanna could pose a threat to the Carolinas later this week.

The peak of hurricane season runs from mid-August through mid-October, so the recent increase in stormy weather through the Tropics should really come as no surprise.
