Governor Mark Sanford will be in Charleston Monday at a meeting with Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano and Senator Lindsey Graham. Sanford’s spokesman says the governor won’t attend a media availability.

The remarks were picked up by an open microphone Tuesday at a meeting of the National Governors Association in Philadelphia. Some construed them as sexist.
