The Greenville County Sheriff’s Office says it’s dug so deep into the well, it can be dangerous to work in the dark.  The dig began last week but was called over the weekend because of the weather. Originally the office said they would stop digging at 4:30pm, but the latest news from the site says crews will continue until it is too dark to work.
