The South Carolina Highway Patrol reported 25 accidents in the Upstate Monday morning just during the 7:00am hour. A Flash Flood watch is in effect for a portions of the Upstate.

A Clinton man died early Monday morning after an accident on Torrington Road in Laurens County. Guy Adair Tumblin, 88, was pronounced dead at the scene at 6:30am.

Five men have been arrested after a home invasion in Laurens County. Deputies say the home is owned by a Laurens County Council Member.
