The 2009 “Walk for Babies” Spartanburg fundraiser for the March of Dimes was held this past Saturday (4/25).

I was one of the emcees and one of the walkers.

For me, it was like visiting an old friend.

That friend was Duncan Park.

    I haven’t participated in a tug-of-war since the mid/late 1960’s when I was at field day in junior high.

    This Saturday (11/8/08) I pick up the rope again as part of a team from News Channel 7.

    And on the other end of the rope will be a FedEx 727!
