The former Bank of American Branch Manager in Gaffney Brandy Tate’s did not show up to Monday’s scheduled news conference.

More than two-hundred motorcycles rumbled into Gaffney to honor fallen Marine Lance Corporal Chris Fowlkes.

Residents throughout Cherokee County and throughout the upstate lined the roads waving American flags and displaying yellow ribbons as a show of support for fallen Marine Christopher Fowlkes.

The body of Marine Lance Cpl. Chris Fowlkes arrived at GSP Wednesday afternoon.

Only 23 years old, John David Chapman of Laurens County, had seen more than most people in an entire lifetime. His grandmother said, his family discovered Wednesday, he is another casualty of war.
