Sheriff: Father Dies After Shooting By Son in Lyman

A son shot hit his father during a confrontation at a home in Lyman according to Spartanburg County Sheriff’s deputies. Kenneth “Brent” Evans died July 18. The Spartanburg County Sheriff’s Office anticipates getting final word Monday from the 7th Circuit Solicitor on whether any charges will be filed in the death.
