North Carolina health officials are reporting the first child flu death since the swine flu came into the state during the spring.

As we’re still in our relatively stormy spring weather season and the end of school draws more people outdoors, don’t forget to keep lightning safety in mind at all times.

It seems like we’ve been seeing a lot of wet weather recently.  Guess what…we’re supposed to!

A return to February weather serves as a speedbump to spring, which will be back in full force shortly.

On the surface, spring or “spring-like” weather would lead you to believe we’ll be warm.  Spring weather is marked by gradually warming days and nights, but most of all, true spring weather means plenty of change.
