She was just 8 years old. Playing in her neighborhood, like so many children do on a summer night.
She was found in an abandoned mobile home. The coroner says she died from asphyxiation. They believe she was sexually assaulted.
A memorial for Dymia Woody is piling up. A broken hearted neighborhood lays stuffed animal after stuffed animal near a patch of sidewalk where the little girl once roamed. You can see an image of the memorial as published on the Greenville News Website.
