Staycation or Vacation, Boom or bust?

The big questions this July 4th.. will you take a staycation, or will you go on your usual vacation? 

And will you light fireworks or not? 

But the bigger question is why? 

Many assume the changing habits are the result of the economy, gas prices, the fire danger or something else. 

So I’m interested in hearing why you’re going to do what you’re going to do. 

I’m staying home, taking a staycation, but that’s because I just found out Monday that I was off.  Doesn’t really have a thing to do with gas prices.  I do plan to refrain from fireworks because of the fire danger, though we may brave downtown Greenville and see the Red White and Blue show set off by the pros.
