Summer Doldrums…and Not Just with the Weather

» 0 Comments | Post a Comment

Summertime weather typically means a stretch of weather in which our day-today forecast changes very little.  It will be very warm to hot, it will be humid, there will be some thunderstorms somewhere.  The only decisions to make in a forecast are: 80s or 90s, humid or very humid, and if those pop-up storms will be widespread or isolated…and will they be limited to the mountains or seen area-wide.

This also means there’s not much to stimulate the thinking of your local morning meteorologist.  This means that this blog entry has been reduced to nothing more than my explanation that I am also in the midst of the summer doldrums.

We’ll see if I get any more creative before or after our summertime weather pattern starts breaking down for the season…
