How To Save $$$ On Call-Waiting, Three-Way Calls

To be honest, I didn’t have such a “cheery” expression on my face during my three-way phone call Saturday.

In a tough economy, I’m here with some money saving ideas for you.

My wife captured this picture of me employing Fred’s official call-waiting and three-way calling technology.

This happened Saturday afternoon during the Indiana vs. Iowa football game.

I’m talking on my cell phone in my right hand to my brother as we discuss how a video replay booth official can watch a play from 39 different angles in slow-motion and STILL get the call wrong.

In my left hand, I’m talking on our hard line to my mother in-law.

She’s still talking about that horrendous spot the zebras gave Indiana near the end of the first half that was still botched by the replay official. I’m more concerned about the touchdown the replay zebra wiped out because of the “irrefutable evidence.“

Video: Thanks Wizard of Odds!

The great advantage to this type of technology is that there are no long drawn-out directions that forced you to “star” something or even to click the receiver to get to the second caller.

I am all about low-tech, my friends.

I think this is a fabulous photo. Props to Mrs. Fred. What a great anchor that he is willing to post a photo of himself hanging out in a tshirt on his couch, two phones, watching football!! Different that the normal suit we see, but shows how cool he is!  And speaking of cool, we heard that he thinks he wasn’t popular in high school. The fact that he is talking on two phones…to save money or whatever he claims…ups his popularity and coolness quotient right there.
