Autumn Is In The Air!

The autumn colors are strikingly beautiful this time of year. Last time, I talked about how I am not used to seeing these pretty colors on the trees. Now they we are close to peak time, it is even more impressive than I ever imagined! I recently moved to Greenville and our station is in Spartanburg. I thought I would dread the 85 drive to work, but that is far from what is happening. I actually look forward to the drive in the morning or afternoon as I gaze at the deep reds, the bright yellows and the thick oranges from the falling leaves. I know I need to pay attention to the driving, but it sure is hard when the scenery is so beautiful! Several people have told me to head up to the Mountains where the colors are even more striking. I would love to get some suggestions for a fall foliage Sunday drive. I am looking for a good route that will give me time to take pictures and make my west coast friends jealous. If you have a good driving route for me, email me . I welcome your suggestions. Now I just hope we get some pretty snow. This might be my first White Christmas!

You’re doing a great job! I just sent a request to Christy, asking that you have more air-time, hope you don’t mind. Welcome to the Upstate.
