Go “Green” Eggs & Ham

I was trying to think of a way to incorporate Go Green into my breakfast journey, but the only witty way I could find was in the title. First of all, our Going Green pieces have been getting some great response from you and I encourage you to keep sending me your Go Green ideas by emailing me . Second, this week’s topic revolves around bathrooms and there are some very easy little tips you can do to save water in that part of the house. OK, onto my breakfast journey. I am an “egg” and “cheese” guy. I like eggs and cheese (no green ones however and I am not too fond of ham come to think of it). When I lived out West, there were several great breakfast-type places I frequented. When I decided to move to the South, I thought for sure there would be a great diner on every corner. Not so much, as I have found. Maybe I am looking in the wrong places, as I am sure there are many fine establishments throughout the Upstate and Western North Carolina. I also don’t mind the chain restaurants (and I won’t mention them by name but their initials are IHOP and Denny’s).

So, this is where you come in. If you live out this way and know of some good old fashioned, preferably not too greasy breakfast joints, let me know. Shoot me an and I will gladly continue my search for the best “Green” eggs and ham location this side of the Mississippi.
