Upstate Woman Wants to Find and Thank Couple Who Gave a Helping Hand

It’s always heartwarming to hear of people doing acts of kindness.

They happen far more often than we may notice or appreciate.

Recently a woman left me the following voicemail about a kindness she had received:
——

“The other day I had an appointment in Spartanburg, and when I got out of the office I couldn’t find my way back to Highway 9.  I live in Boiling Springs; I’m new in this area.  I found a church; there was a couple was coming out of the church that got in their car.  I went to them and told them what I needed, could they tell me how to get back to Highway 9.  They said, ‘Just follow us, and we’ll take you right to Highway 9.‘  I don’t know these people’s names, but I was just so relieved when I saw someone who could tell me how to get back home.“

——-

I called her to learn more about what happened to her.

She wants to thank the people who helped her, but she doesn’t know their names.

The people who helped the woman can please e-mail me at .  To confirm you are the real thing, I will ask you a few questions only you can answer.  Then, if you wish, I’ll put you in touch with the person you helped.

A simple act of kindness can leave a big impression.

It’s something all of us should do more.
