Mauldin High grad Madison Younginer signed with Boston Friday, receiving a $1 million dollar bonus.

Clemson signee Madison Younginer has signed with the Red Sox, who made him their seventh-round draft pick this past June.

The righthanded pitcher and former Mauldin High star will get a $1 million signing bonus, according to the website SoxProspects.com.

Meanwhile, USC signee Brooks Hall, out of T.L. Hanna, remains in limbo with the Brewers, although his father tells News Channel 7 that the two sides are close.

Hall, who will play shortstop either in the pros or at South Carolina.  The Brewers drafted him in the fourth round.

Buck Hall says he expects negotiations to go close to Monday’s MLB signing deadline.
