Clemson has landed six-eight swingman Noel Johnson of Fayetteville, Georgia for this year’s basketball recruiting class.

Johnson initially signed with Southern Cal, but was released from his scholarship when recent issues arose under former coach Tim Floyd

Last season Johnson averaged 28 points and nine rebounds per game.

He tells Palmettosports.com that he can get to the rim but he also likes to show off his shooting range.

“It’s real deep,“ Johnson said. “I can’t measure the feet, but it’s pretty far back from the three point line.“ Johnson becomes the fourth signee for Clemson’s nationally ranked recruiting class.
