SC, Clemson Basketball Returns To Early December

Clemson and South Carolina will meet on the basketball court in early December this season after playing at the end of the month last season.

The hoops rivalry will take place Sunday December 6th at Clemson’s Littlejohn Coliseum as revealed by South Carolina announcing its non-conference opponents and dates Tuesday.

The 2008 game was played December 30th in Columbia, two days before each school’s football bowl game.  USC moved the contest to that date (off its typical early December time) due to various scheduling constraints that were university-related.

Clemson has won five straight in the series.
