Steve Gordin is a lifelong Gamecock football fan, so it is with that grasp of the South Carolina program that he wrote the song, “The Gamecock Slide.“
The song is a light hearted take of the optimism of the gamecock fans and the reality that a conference championship will have to wait until next year.
