What they don’t tell you about Medicare

I worked for 25 years, all of the over time I could get and then I couldn’t walk. I refused to be disabled so I went back to school and couldn’t walk after the first few weeks. So i bit the bullet and filed for social security.
I was awarded social security in May of 09 after filing for the 4th time and with a lawyer this time.
Now the other battel begins. I thought yea now I can see a doctor and get my leg fixed. After going to doctors they said I didn’t have part b even though the woman at social security said she would take care of this right now. Well that was 7 months ago and I am still waiting on my 4 years of back pay from social security. and then I will have to move to NC to get supplemental part b. The other thing is if they go back and approve it since May, the is the last month fo sign up for supplemental insurace, which means it is to late to move but the will pay the 15,000 in dr bills or if I have to wait til Jan. I will have to pay the bills and then move before my lease is up to NC and get new drs in NC.
