ELON, N.C. (AP) - Ola Atoyebi and Montell Watson kept Elon
undefeated in the Southern Conference with a win over Wofford
Saturday night.
Atoyebi and Watson had 16 points each as the Phoenix won
66-to-57. Elon is three-and-0 in league play this season.
Atoyebi and Watson had 9 points during an 18-to-4 first-half run
that got Elon in front. When Wofford got back in it after halftime,
it was Watson who regained control with two key three-pointers.
Elon improved to 5-and-4 this season.
Shane Nicholes led Wofford with 13 points. The Terriers fell to
4-and-3 and 1-and-1 in the Southern Conference.
