GREENVILLE, S.C. (AP) - Alex Opacic tied his career high with 20
points and Furman beat the College of Charleston for only the
second time in the last 11 meetings, 74-66.
Opacic had 8 points tonight in a 21-4 run in the first half that
put the Paladins out front to stay, 36-21. His layup also began a
12-4 run in the second half after the Cougars had cut the lead to
three.
Justin Dehm had 12 points, all in the second half, for Furman.
It was just the second Southern Conference win for the Paladins
this season.
Tony White Jr. had 16 points to lead Charleston.
