STATESBORO, Ga. (AP) - Junior Salters scored 18 points and Noah
Dahlman added 17 to lead Wofford to an 86-79 win over Georgia
Southern tonight.
The Eagles (12-7, 5-4 Southern Conference) controlled most of
the first half, taking a 37-29 halftime lead. Georgia Southern took
a 41-33 lead with 18:29 left in the game on a 3-pointer by Anthony
Marshall.
But the Terriers (10-8, 3-5) went on a 16-6 run in a five minute
span, claiming a 49-47 lead. Salters scored six points and
Godzinski had five points during the spurt.
Wofford never trailed the rest of the game, building its largest
lead at 75-62 with 2:08 remaining on Salters' layup.
Louis Graham led Georgia Southern with 26 points and eight
rebounds.
