GREENVILLE, S.C. (AP) - Appalachian State kept up its winning
ways, taking its seventh straight victory at Furman tonnight.
Jeremy Clayton led things for the Mountaineers with 21 points
and 11 rebounds. He made all eight of his field goals to lift
Appalachian State to its ninth win in its past 10 games.
The Mountaineers are 12 and 6 overall and 7 and 2 in the
Southern Conference.
Furman fell to 3 and 16 on the season. The Paladins have won
only two of their 10 league games.
