TL Hanna High School has hired Kenya Fouch as its new head football coach. Fouch spent the last season guiding Calhoun Falls High School and became available when that school announced it was closing at the end of this school year. He replaces Scott Parker who left the position in March.

On Friday night a home caught fire at 1216 Sardis Road in Union. Mike Lancaster with the Southside Fire Department says that four fire departments responded to the fire.
