CLEMSON, S.C. (AP) - Terrence Oglesby scored 15 points and
Raymond Sykes added 14 to lead Clemson to a dominating 93-40
victory over Wofford on Wednesday night.
The Tigers (4-0) outscored Wofford 51-17 in the second half
after leading 42-23 at halftime. It was Clemsons eighth-straight
victory over its in-state foe.
Noah Dahlman led the Terriers (0-2) with 14 points. The Terriers
shot 27.1 percent from the floor (13 of 48) and committed 21
turnovers against Clemsons full-court pressure. Wofford hit just 2
of 17 3-point attempts.
Wofford stayed close early, but Clemson took the lead for good
at 17-14 on Raymond Sykes three-point play with 8:57 left in the
first half. That triggered a 13-0 Tigers run and Wofford never
recovered.
