Korn To Get Shot For Clemson

Former Byrnes stand-out to get first career start

»  Comments | Post a Comment

Former Byrnes stand-out Willy Korn will get the start at quarterback when Clemson plays host to Georgia Tech next Saturday.

Korn will replace senior Cullen Harper, whose struggled this season after a break-out junior campaign. Harper threw his sixth interception of the season in Thursday night's loss against Wake Forest, matching his 2007 total.

Clemson head coach Tommy Bowden says he made the decision earlier this afternoon and feels that his offense needs a spark and that Korn's mobility could provide that.

The Tigers have scored one touchdown in their past six quarters.
