Clemson will forge on without junior defensive tackle Jamie Cumbie, who has a broken wrist and is lost for the season as he'll need surgery.
Cumbie, a true junior will redshirt and have two years of eligibility remaining.
Sports information director Tim Bourret says Cumbie believes he initially suffered the injury in the game against Alabama but may have caused further damage in practice Tuesday.
Bandit end Ricky Sapp will sit-out the game against The Citadel as he recovers from a bruised knee also suffered against Alabama.
