Clemson's Kyle Parker his a grand slam in a six-run opening inning and the sophomore outfielder finished 4-5 with 4 RBI and three runs scored in a 13-2 rout of Western Carolina.
The Tigers outscored the Catamounts 24-3 in consecutive nights and had 15 hits in Wednesday night's game.
Clemson improves to 25-12 overall.
In Columbia, the Citadel tied the game with a run in the eighth, scored two in the top of the 11th and then worked out of a no out, bases loaded jam in the bottom half to hold on for a 5-3 victory over South Carolina, the Bulldogs' second straight victory against the Gamecocks.
