Coach has contract through 2014 with Tigers
Clemson basketball coach Oliver Purnell said he plans to stay put despite interest in him from at least one other school.
The Birmingham newspaper Friday cited a source at Alabama saying the Crimson Tide had an interest in Purnell.
Purnell's Tigers are 21-4 entering Sunday's game at Georgia Tech. The team has had three straight 20-wins seasons, a first in the program's history.
Clemson made the NCAA Tournament last season for the first time in 10 years.
