CLEMSON, S.C. (AP) - Wake Forest and Clemson will play an early
season showdown for the top of the Atlantic Coast Conference.
The second-ranked Deacon Demons (15-0, 2-0 ACC) and the
10th-ranked Tigers (16-0, 2-0) play Saturday at Littlejohn
Coliseum. They are two of the last three Division I unbeaten teams
in the country.
Wake Forest can set a school record for its best start ever with
a win. Clemson is a victory away from matching the best start in
school history at 17-0, accomplished only twice before.
