More than a thousand fans turn out to show their support for the 2009 U.S. Open Champion

More than a month after winning the U.S. Open, Greenville's Lucas Glover is back in the upstate and was honored Sunday afternoon at Fluor Field.
Glover appreciated all the support and thanked the fans for coming out and rooting him on.
Glover plans to take next weekend off, before resuming play on the PGA tour in early August.

On Friday night a home caught fire at 1216 Sardis Road in Union. Mike Lancaster with the Southside Fire Department says that four fire departments responded to the fire.
