Marty Ward, a 5-Time Greeville-Pickens Speedway track champion, started the first of two, 50-lap late model races in the 3rd position, but 4 laps in he passed Johnny Hightower to take over the 2nd position, and 4 laps later, Ward passed Roger Powell for the lead. Ward led the rest of the way for his 9th win of the year.
In the 2nd, 50-lap race, Ward was equally as dominant, as he cruised to his 2nd win of the night, and his 10th trip to victory lane this year.
