CHARLESTON, S.C. (AP) -
Noah Dahlman scored 17 points to lead
Wofford to a 62-55 win over The Citadel on Saturday night, sweeping
the season series.
Dahlman, who was the only Wofford player to score in double
figures, finished with seven rebounds for the Terriers (15-13, 11-8
Southern Conference). Tim Johnson also grabbed eight rebounds and
Junior Salters had six.
The Terriers have won four of their last five games.
Demetrius Nelson paced the Bulldogs (19-11, 14-5) with 14 points
and eight rebounds, and was the only player to score in double
figures for The Citadel.
The score was tied 25-25 at halftime, but the Terriers outscored
the Bulldogs 35-30 in the second half.
Wofford went 6-for-17 from beyond the arc, while The Citadel hit
just 3-of-15 shots from long range. The Terriers also hit 11-of-13
free throws compared to the Bulldogs, who hit 10 of 16.
