Wofford's first winning season as a Division I team came to a screaching halt in the opening round of the Southern Conference Tournament Friday night as the Terriers fell to Elon, 62-55, despite an 18-point effort from sophomore Noah Dahlmann.
The Terriers conclude with a record of 16-13.
Furman saw Samford race out on a 20-5 run but the Paladins closed with three points late before dropping a 57-52 decision. The Paladins finish at 6-24 and were 0-17 away from home.
