Woodruff head coach Brian Lane and quarterback Jake Lambert are the South Carolina Football Coaches Association's AA upper state coach and back of the year, respectively.
Lane has guided the Wolverines to a 10-0 record so far this season and is 21-3 in two years on the job. The Wolverines are the Appalachian AA region champs as they enter the playoffs Friday night.
Lambert has passed for 2,961 yards and 39 touchdowns this year. He's the school's all-time passing leader and holds the single-season mark with 3,316 yards last year.
The two will be honored at a banquet later this fall.
