Boiling Springs head coach Bruce Clark will return to the sidelines Friday night.

Boiling Springs football coach Bruce Clark will return to the sidelines for Friday night's game against visiting Wren.
Clark has been in extended rehab in the Atlanta area after complications from neck surgery earlier this summer left him briefly paralyzed.
He'll coach in a scooter although he hopes to be walking the sidelines by mid-season.
Clark led the Bulldogs to an 8-4 record in 2008.
However, the build-up to 2009, with the nucleus of that team returning, was tarnished when the South Carolina High School league banned the program from this year's playoffs for using an ineligible player during spring football practice.
