Clemson junior wide receiver Xavier Dye will stay with the team after considering a transfer.
Earlier Thursday, Clemson head coach Dabo Swinney told WCCP-FM that he would release Dye from his scholarship so that he could transfer.
Swinney later met with Dye, who then decided to rejoin the team and returned to practice Thursday afternoon after leaving the team Monday.
Dye, who has one reception so far this season, recently lost his starting job to redshirt sophomore Brandon Clear.
He will not play in Saturay's game against Boston College.
