Blacksburg, VA-Clemson basketball coach Oliver Purnell said this morning he expects starting point guard Demontez Stitt to return to action from a left foot sprain for Saturday afternoon's game at Virginia Tech.

Stitt has sat-out the past two games against Boston College and Maryland. He suffered the injury January 9th at N.C. State. He then played at least 35 minutes in losses against Georgia Tech and Duke.

The junior is averaging better than 11 points and nearly four assists per game. Sophomore Andre Young has started the past two games in his place.

Purnell said he's not sure just how many minutes he'll get out of Stitt against Virginia Tech Saturday.
