CONWAY, S.C. (AP) - Coastal Carolina has named businessman and United Football League coach Joe Moglia as head football coach. The school said Tuesday it had chosen Moglia to replace Dave Bennett, the only football coach the seasons until he was fired this month. Moglia is former head coach of the UFL's Omaha Nighthawks, and chairman of the board for TD Ameritrade since 2008. Coastal president David DeCenzo said Moglia has proven successful on and off the football field. Moglia says he's grateful for the opportunity to become a college head coach. He was executive adviser in the football program at Nebraska in 2009 and 2010 and coached the Nighthawks last fall. He has been a coach 19 years. He was CEO with TD Ameritrade from 2001 to 2008.
