Reporter at WSPA
Graeme Moore joined WSPA in November 2010 as a reporter based in Spartanburg.
Graeme is a South Carolina native and has spent most of his media career working in South Carolina television markets.
Before joining WSPA, Graeme worked for WPDE NewsChannel 15 in Myrtle Beach for three years and covered a wide array of stories. From the historic 2008 presidential debates to tropical storms to crime, he got a little taste of everything along the Grand Strand. Graeme led coverage on the continuing case of Brittanee Drexel, a Rochester, NY, teen who police think was abducted from Myrtle Beach's Ocean Boulevard in 2009.
His reporting earned him recognition from the CUE Center for Missing Persons based in Wilmington, NC, and he was featured on "Disappeared: The Secret Journey," an hour-long documentary on Drexel which aired in October 2010 on Investigation Discovery.
In 2010, the SC Associated Press Broadcasters Association recognized him with a 1st place general news reporting award, and he finished as a finalist in the political reporting category in the 2010 RTNDAC awards.
Before Myrtle Beach, Graeme returned to Washington, D.C. and the Fox News Channel, where he had interned in the summer of 2005. His return trip was spent as an associate producer for FNC's "Weekend Live" program.
While at USC in Columbia, where he earned a B.A. in Broadcast Journalism, Graeme worked for a year at WIS-TV as a web producer first and then later as an assignment editor.
Graeme enjoys any news story, but his passion is in investigating and digging for the ones that count, and he hopes his reporting in the Upstate will make a difference in our community.
