The Upstate should see some clearing this afternoon behind the front that has been moving through, while the mountains will still contend with some clouds and some stray light rain showers...and even high-elevation snow showers. Best chance for continued activity late this afternoon would be on the Tennesee border. All precipitation should be light. That should dissipate this evening, while the Upstate will be mostly clear. All of us will be seasonably chilly overnight.
Expect plenty of sunshine Thursday, with temperatures near or just slightly below average.
We'll warm up a little on Friday ahead of the next front that moves through on Saturday. That front might bring a sprinkle our way, with some rain and snow showers possible in the mountains. Sunshine will be back on Sunday, but it will be chilly with temperatures that could be a good ten degrees below average.
We'll see a slow warming trend early next week.
